HOW TO MAKE
FRENCH PRESS COFFEE
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Fill your kettle with spring (or filtered) water and set to boil.
Splash Fresh Press with hot water to preheat. Discard water after heating.
Weigh coffee beans using a scale and grind to French Press size. To make two cups, we recommend 500 grams of water and 30 grams of coffee.
Place ground coffee inside Press. Place press on scale and tare to zero. If your scale is set to "auto," the brew timer will automatically start once you begin adding water.
Add boiling water until the desired scale reading.
Grounds will float to the surface. Let expanding coffee "bloom" for one minute, then break the crust with a spoon and stir.
After four minutes, add plunger and press down slowly and evenly until reaching bottom. Pour coffee and enjoy.
